Giraffes

African mammals and giraffes in particular are regular themes in Mary's tile work.

Pottery

Mary works in stoneware, and does reduction and wood firings. Her pieces are all functional and beautiful.

Tiles

Mary's tile work is meticulous.  She employs a  very unusual transfer technique to move images she has captured in her travels onto her tiles and pottery.  The results are transcendent.
